The New Canadian Commercial Conference – Registration Now Open!
Early registration opened today for the Canadian Commercial Conference. The event will be held in Parksville, BC, from September 15-17, and will be jointly hosted by CREA and the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board.
The conference will provide an opportunity for commercial practitioners, or those interested in commercial, from across Canada to network and learn about the latest trends in commercial real estate. With nearly 30% of CREA members (2013 CREA Members Survey) focusing either full or part time on commercial real estate, and more than 6,300 members belonging to CREA's Canadian Commercial Network, the conference will help fill an important member need to stay up-to-date and better connected.

REALTORS® Storm the Hill
The wait is almost over. May 11th – 13th, REALTORS® from across Canada converge in Ottawa for CREA's political advocacy conference, PAC Days. This annual conference draws hundreds of politically-engaged REALTORS® who drive our industry's lobbying forward in meetings with Members of Parliament on Parliament Hill.
Conference participants get an insider's view of politics with keynotes from CBC's Rick Mercer and former Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. Government Cabinet Minister Candice Bergen, Leader of the Official Opposition Thomas Mulcair and Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada Justin Trudeau will also take to the PAC Days stage, as well as panels of journalists and political pundits. Technology Milestones Come in Big Numbers
The month of April has seen a number of significant milestones for CREA tech products. REALTOR.ca hit 22.4 million visitors in April, which set a new record for the site. It also exceeded 6.7 million mobile sessions and 6.2 million unique visitors - all records.
To take it even further, the new fully redesigned REALTOR.ca app for iPhone was released on April 10 and garnered over 90,000 new downloads in just under three weeks of release. It was also named best new app and featured in the Apple App Store at release.
The CREA Data Distribution Facility (DDF®), which helps extend the reach of REALTOR.ca listings, also saw growth in April. Getting your listings to the places you want them is our top priority and CREA is pleased to report that in April the National Shared Pool reached over 113,000 listings expanding the reach of REALTOR.ca listings. Another milestone for DDF® is the National Franchiser Pool which reached over 100,000 listings in April.
