Get Out and Celebrate Your Community During Canada's 150th!

As REALTORS® we know that heading into the summer generally doesn't mean kicking up our feet and relaxing by the beach but rather a flurry of activity. The spring buying season stretches into the summer and clients look to REALTORS® to ensure things go well for their big move. We consistently go the extra mile for our clients and that's why negative stories that pop up in the media from time-to-time cast an unfortunate shadow over our profession. It is important we continue to focus on professionalism and protecting consumer interests, and seek opportunities to promote positive change.

Over this summer, as we celebrate Canada's 150th birthday, I challenge all of you to get into your communities and engage in positive activities. Meet your neighbors, hold a block party, head to a local BBQ. Canada is a country built on community and hard work and our profession reflects the best of that spirit. Canada 150 is an opportunity to engage, reflect and celebrate the diversity that is part of the place we call home.

With sincere best wishes for a wonderful summer,

In addition, there is a new section for U.S.-based REALTORS® introducing them to the CREA Global program, which makes it easier to find REALTORS® in Canada to exchange referrals and provides other benefits to assist with their potential purchase.
