After three years and more than 40 episodes, the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA)
REAL TIME podcast will now feature full video episodes. This month, we’re talking with international colour guru, Leatrice (Lee) Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone® Color Institute and Director of the Eiseman Center for Color Information and Technology.
For more than 20 years, Eiseman has been determining the Pantone® Color of the Year, a decision that impacts many industries including interior design, fashion, product development, and more.
In this episode, Eiseman outlines trends in colour psychology and how they can change alongside the social and cultural movements of the time. Specifically, she shares how individuals’ preferences toward certain colours can impact their decision making, why they gravitate towards certain colours, and how colour can be a “silent salesperson” REALTORS® can use to their advantage. Tapping into knowledge she’s gained over decades, Eiseman paints a vivid picture of the significance of this information and how to use it to build relationships and better support your clients.
Eiseman also takes us behind the scenes to share how she and her team select Pantone’s® Color of the Year, the inspiration behind their decision to select Peach Fuzz, and where she sees it having the greatest impact in 2024.
Earlier this month, we took to the streets of Ottawa, Ontario to ask people what they thought of Peach Fuzz and where they might incorporate it into their homes.
