Canada’s No. 1 real estate website is introducing new features on REALTOR.ca to improve the consumer experience and make it easier than ever before to connect with REALTORS®. Check out some of the upgrades below and feel free to try them out over the summer:
- “Waterfront” is one of the most searched keywords on REALTOR.ca and is a searchable field (NDS field 352), making it easier for consumers to find the shoreline properties they’re seeking.
- In addition to YouTube, Vimeo, iGuide, Matterport, Immoviewer and RealVision, new virtual tour providers iStaging, ImageMaker360 and Property Panorama now have more of a prominent display on REALTOR.ca listings. To display content in this new area, REALTORS® need to input their URLs in the “video tour” field (NDS field number 64). Other video formats will continue to appear as an icon on the listing feature sheet.
- Property tax information is now displayed directly on listing pages for agents of all boards and associations sending NDS field 88 (tax assessment year) and NDS field 90 (tax amount) for display*.
- “Agent trading areas” (NDS field number 247) is now searchable through the “Meet a REALTOR®” section and will display REALTORS® in the areas where they work, as well as their office’s location*. Speak to your local board or association if this field is not available to you.
- REALTORS® can now add their Instagram links to their profiles via “Agent Social Network Links” (NDS Field number 270) in their MLS® System. When added, the Instagram icon will show up on your REALTOR.ca profile and listings, right next to your other social media links*. Speak to your local board or association if this field is not currently available to you.
- REALTOR.ca successfully launched a chat pilot for REALTORS® and consumers in Calgary. Results and REALTOR® feedback are being reviewed to determine next steps for the project.
*Available fields vary by board and association. Speak to your local board or association if a field is not currently available to you.
