Following a successful virtual trip across Canada in 2021, CREA Global brought their Great Canadian Road Trip to Calgary, Alberta earlier this month.
On July 18 and 19, 2023, REALTORS® from Canada and the United States met to learn about real estate ecosystems and how government policies impact the home buying process in local markets.
The Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB) hosted the event in collaboration with real estate associations on both sides of the border, including CREA, REALTORS® Association of Edmonton (RAE), Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABOR), and Texas REALTORS®.
The two-day event featured a range of speakers, including experts from the economic development community, government officials, and industry professionals. Together, they offered valuable perspectives that shed light on the dynamic real estate landscape in both countries.
In addition to hearing from the presenters, participants were able to exchange knowledge and build relationships that will help benefit their clients looking to buy on either side of the border.
Attendees also raised more than $1,800 through our REALTORS Care® fundraising appeal to support Canadian Red Cross wildfire relief efforts in Alberta.
