As provinces and territories begin to loosen COVID-19 restrictions, REALTORS® may start to receive requests from potential buyers to view properties for sale or rent.
To assist REALTORS® and their clients in mitigating the risks associated with such requests, CREA has prepared a template form that asks potential buyers to confirm, among other things, that they do not have any COVID-19-related symptoms.
The form also outlines how contact information collected may be used by the REALTOR® and their brokerage.
Please note that use of the form is optional. Where forms have been prepared in the REALTORS®’ jurisdiction by their regulator, board, or association, such forms should be used instead.
