CREA and ITSO Collaborating to Enhance Experience on REALTOR.ca in Southern Ontario

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and Information Technology Systems Ontario (ITSO) are excited to announce a strategic partnership to enhance the user experience on REALTOR.ca in parts of Ontario.

The Guelph and District Association of REALTORS® (GDAR) will be the first ITSO member board to feature conditionally sold tags. Additional features for GDAR listings are expected to roll out in the coming months. Other ITSO member boards can opt into the display of additional information on listings from their markets. This marks the first instance where enhanced data will be made available on REALTOR.ca listings in Ontario, and it represents what’s possible through collaboration with local boards and regional MLS® Systems for the benefit of consumers and REALTORS®.

ITSO is the MLS® System and technology provider for 18 member boards/associations, representing close to 20,000 REALTORS® in southern Ontario.

Canada’s No. 1 real estate platform, REALTOR.ca, is no longer a one-size-fits-all tool. REALTOR.ca puts valuable, high-quality property information into the hands of consumers, while keeping REALTORS® at the heart of the transaction. ITSO member boards/associations will have the opportunity to tailor a unique REALTOR.ca experience for their specific markets in southern Ontario to increase information transparency and meet consumer expectations.

As with the addition of similar curated experiences released through the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® (NSAR), CREA and its partner boards and associations continue to use the vast resource of housing information, historical records, and consumer behaviour data to further meet the expectations of today’s real estate consumer on REALTOR.ca.

We understand regulations differ by region and are happy to work with boards and associations to develop a tailored REALTOR.ca experience.

We’ll continue to share more information as it becomes available. If you have any questions, our Member Experience Centre is available by emailing support@crea.ca or calling 1-888-237-7845.
