If you’re heading to Ottawa for the upcoming CREA Leadership Summit and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 8 and April 9, there’s a few things to remember.
First of all, you might want to check the weather forecast; just because it says spring on the calendar, doesn’t mean Ottawa will be warm.
Also, if you haven’t registered for either event, it’s not too late as you can do so right up until the day of the events. Fees for the Leadership Summit vary depending on what courses you plan on attending. There is no charge to attend the CREA Open Forum and AGM; however, if you plan on attending the President’s Dinner, there is a fee. Click here to be taken to the event’s page for more information.
The Leadership Summit registration and information desk will be open as of Sunday, April 7, in the fourth floor escalator foyer of the Westin Ottawa hotel from noon to 5 p.m.
The Leadership Summit runs all day on Monday, April 8, and includes keynote speeches from Heath Slawner, a renowned presenter in leadership and culture, and Catriona Le May Doan, Canadian speed skater and a double Olympic champion.
The CREA AGM includes award presentations, elections, and discussion topics on the REALTOR® Code, the Three-Way Agreement and direct billing.
