The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) continues to enhance the REALTOR.ca consumer experience and position REALTORS® at the heart of the transaction through ongoing partnerships with local boards and provincial associations. Most recently, in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) through the backing of the REALTOR.ca Data Centre.
NSAR has thrown its support behind the cloud-based data warehouse through a multi-year sponsorship that will turn data into business intelligence and tools for members and consumers researching Nova Scotia real estate on REALTOR.ca.
The REALTOR.ca Data Centre will allow CREA and NSAR to continue to enhance the REALTOR.ca experience in the province by pulling together data from provincial and municipal governments, the NSAR MLS® System, REALTOR.ca user behaviour, and other sources of data into one place. The mission is to provide consumers with more research and analytics about properties, not just active listings, while on REALTOR.ca. These enhancements will ensure REALTOR.ca continues to be a reliable source of quality leads and business opportunities for REALTORS®.
Patrick Pichette, CREA’s Vice President, REALTOR.ca, said, “The REALTOR.ca Data Centre will support CREA and NSAR’s goal of enhancing the REALTOR.ca experience in Nova Scotia to build more trust with consumers while keeping REALTORS® at the heart of the buying and selling journey.”
NSAR and its Board of Directors have taken bold steps over the last few years to ensure REALTOR.ca continues to meet consumer expectations in Canada by enabling CREA to leverage and utilize the valuable data created by NSAR members through cooperation in its MLS® System.
Tammy Hines, NSAR President, said, “As the voice of real estate in Nova Scotia, it is important we showcase our leadership in all areas of the industry, including client experience. NSAR is proud to partner with CREA to continue making REALTOR.ca the premier choice of those looking to buy or sell.”
The REALTOR.ca Data Centre is the latest in a series of enhancements to REALTOR.ca in Nova Scotia, including price history and conditionally sold tags.
