CREA Prioritizes REALTOR® Safety with New eLearning Courses

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is highlighting the importance of safety within the real estate industry by introducing two new REALTOR® safety eLearning modules.

The courses, available in both English and French, are broken down into two topics, general REALTOR® safety, and cybersecurity.

Now Available: Module 1-Navigating REALTOR® Safety

Navigating REALTOR® Safety explores safety scenarios REALTORS® may encounter and provides practical strategies for handling them.

By the end of this module, participants will understand the significance of safety within the real estate sector, identify potential risks and hazards, and effectively implement personal safety measures for themselves, their clients, and their team.

Coming Soon: Module 2-Raising Cybersecurity Awareness

Raising Cybersecurity Awareness will help REALTORS® learn more about safeguarding themselves, their businesses, and their clients from cybersecurity threats.

Participants will get a better understanding of cybersecurity threats and their implications. In addition, they’ll gain skills to identify and mitigate risks linked to social media engagement and virtual work practices, as well as have the capacity to recognize various scams and fraud schemes specific to the real estate industry.

Each module will be available on demand via the CREA Learning Hub.

Those who complete both safety modules will receive a REALTOR® safety digital badge to show their commitment to creating a safe working environment for their business, clients, and the real estate profession.

We will continue to grow our REALTOR® Safety resources on the CREA Learning Hub.
