NAR’s Real Estate Forecast Summit Open to Canadian REALTORS®

On July 26, 2021, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) will hold its virtual Real Estate Forecast Summit: Global Update event. This event will showcase outlooks on changing international real estate markets from countries including Australia, China, Canada, and the United States.

This year, CREA’s Director and Senior Economist, Housing Data and Market Analysis, Shaun Cathcart will be featured and present forecasts on Canada’s varied real estate markets. Cathcart will also speak on home prices, trends and specific regions where demand from buyers is especially high. This presentation will help to portray some of the nuance in the current property purchasing landscape in Canada, and how these trends may compare to other markets, like the United States.

Other sessions at the event include:

  • U.S. Housing Market and Foreign Buyer Trends;
  • Chinese Foreign Buyers: Where They are Buying Globally; and
  • The Australian Housing Market.

This virtual event is open to Canadian REALTORS® and will offer insights for strategizing with international buyers and investors, from the perspective of senior real estate industry experts across many major global markets, all from the comfort of your own home.
