Last fall, 47 REALTORS® from across the country were nominated for the Canadian REALTORS Care® Award. These inspiring volunteers were recognized for going above and beyond to improve the lives of others in the communities where they live and work.
We’re excited to announce the nomination period for the Canadian REALTORS Care®Award is officially open!
We’re looking for REALTORS® who have made a lasting impact on causes close to their heart. The award recipient’s inspirational story will be shared across the country, and their charity of choice will receive a $5,000 donation from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
Since 2016, this award has recognized eight REALTORS® across five provinces who made an impact in their own way, whether it was through tireless volunteerism, game-changing philanthropy or thought-provoking advocacy.
Our most recent recipient, Lorna Hamm, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Realty Professionals, dedicated the last 50 years of her life to improving the lives of others in Calgary, Alberta. By integrating volunteering into her daily life, Hamm accomplished several heart-warming feats, including playing a key role in establishing a crisis nursery, which ensured more than 40,000 children in Calgary were safe from neglect or harm while their family faced a crisis.
