What’s better than that new car smell? Well, for most people, it’s the new features of their new vehicle.
Your old model probably didn’t have a head-up display, Wi-Fi hotspot or radar cruise control. Sure, it’s going to take some time to become familiar with these new features, but once you’re used to them, you’ll probably wonder how you ever lived without them.
That’s what it’s like switching from the legacy version of CREA WEBForms® to CREA WEBForms® 2019; there are so many new and tightly integrated features to get excited about.
Manitoba became the final province to receive access to CREA WEBForms® 2019, powered by TransactionDesk®, earlier this month. Since it was launched in Saskatchewan in March, more than 90% of that province’s Legacy WEBForms® users have successfully converted to the new version.
We listened to our members and created a product they wanted. CREA’s Technology Committee members, as well as our Board of Directors, helped shape the new complete transaction management system to tailor to the needs of REALTORS® and their office workflows.
“For years, our members have been expecting more from WEBForms®, especially with so many new platforms coming into the market,” says Patrick Pichette, CREA’s Vice-President, REALTOR.ca. “It was very important we build a more comprehensive and modern system that’s included in their CREA dues.”
So, what’s new?
“I think it’s important to note that the new CREA WEBForms® 2019 is a true transaction management system, as opposed to a document repository. Simplifying the transaction process was our main goal when moving to a more robust tool for our members,” says Cliff Stevenson, Vice-President of CREA’s Board of Directors and Technology Committee member. “Change isn’t always easy, but CREA WEBForms® 2019 was designed with you in mind to support your business, and we’re working to make the system as seamless as possible for all users.” For those who find comfort in familiarity, the forms repository from the Legacy version of WEBForms® can be found in the new version under the “Forms” section.
It’s important to note the Legacy version of WEBForms® will be discontinued as of January 1, 2020. The transition is easy and you can keep your existing transaction kits for future reference in CREA WEBForms® 2019 with the click of a button. This short video will walk you through the simple process.
