Starting in November, we are launching a nationwide consultation to improve the enforcement of the REALTOR® Code. We need a comprehensive, lasting solution that protects the interests of our members—and of their profession.
We know government is prepared to step in and regulate if there are problems—real or perceived—in the way our profession conducts itself in the marketplace. That’s why it’s so important to ensure the REALTOR® Code is enforced consistently across all jurisdictions in the country. This, in turn, will help improve the reputation of REALTORS®and help us maintain the strength of the REALTOR®trademark.
To encourage participation in the consultation, we will be communicating to members directly in several creative and enticing ways.
