At this time last year, we had to re-think how to conduct our Open Forum and Annual General Meeting (AGM), and so, like everything and everyone else, we made our in-person event a virtual one.
This year, as you may have guessed, we will be doing the same so we can continue following safe COVID-19 protocols. That said, after a full year of fine-tuning our own work-from-home arrangements and digital communications practices, and taking into account all the positive feedback we received from last year’s AGM, we’re confident in our abilities to host an online setting that won’t impede our goals of setting the framework for real estate leadership in Canada in 2021.
We’ll hear from our incoming Chair, vote on information surrounding the REALTOR® Code, meet our new 2021 Board of Directors, and address the upcoming and proposed changes.
There will also be a special presentation about the REALTOR® association community using blockchain and the Canadian REALTORS Care® Award 2021 Proudly Presented by REALTOR.ca will be awarded to one deserving REALTOR®.
If you plan on attending the virtual CREA Open Forum and AGM, please be mindful that the information presented is meant for our members only, and therefore we ask that your surroundings be reflective of that. Please make sure you are registered for the virtual event if you plan on attending.

The Annual General Meeting is a membership meeting held for the purpose of electing or appointing directors, sharing of reports and financial statements, appointment of auditors, and to transact any business properly brought before the meeting. All members may attend and participate in any meeting of the members but shall not be entitled to vote unless appointed a voting delegate by their real estate board or association.
