The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is accepting nominations for the Canadian REALTORS Care® Award 2024 Proudly Presented by REALTOR.ca. This award will be given to a REALTOR® who has gone above and beyond to better the lives of others.
Last fall, 48 REALTORS® from across the country were nominated in recognition of their outstanding commitment to giving back to their communities. If you know a REALTOR® with a similar passion, now is your chance to share their inspiring story!
To submit a nomination for the Canadian REALTORS Care® Award 2024, you will need to:
- fill out the nomination form;
- include a complete history of the community work done by your nominee;
- obtain at least one letter of reference from a charity they support; and
- add supporting documentation such as media coverage, social media posts or photographs.
To paint the full picture in your nomination package, consider reaching out to those who your nominee volunteers with, or directly to the organizations they supported. You’ll likely find they’re more than happy to provide information for your nomination package and may even share some details you were not aware of.
Staff and other volunteers from the organizations your nominee supports would likely have great supporting documentation to strengthen your nomination package, as well. Having multiple, high-quality pieces of supporting documentation can help share your nominee’s story.
While only one is required, it’s never a bad idea to source multiple letters of reference from charities and other organizations your nominee gives their time to. It’s a great opportunity to hear from multiple people who have been impacted by your nominee.
The recipient will be announced at CREA’s AGM in April 2024, and have their story shared across the country. In addition to receiving national recognition and coverage, the recipient’s favourite charity will receive a $5,000 donation from CREA. Your nominee may also be featured as part of CREA’s new REALTORS Care® Spotlight series.
Nominate a REALTOR® making your community a better place! All nominations must be received by Friday, December 1, 2023, at 4 p.m. EST in order to be considered.
