CREA Websites Get Revamped

Did you see the story on REALTORS Care® about the absurd necktie that was auctioned off for charity? Have you cozied into the REALTORS Corner® at the CREA Café lately?

If so, chances are you may have noticed the refreshed look of these two CREA websites. CREA Café and REALTORS Care® were recently revamped in order to make them more user-friendly, adaptive to all devices and able to incorporate live feeds of CREA’s several social media channels. (You are following us, aren’t you?)

We also understand many readers are visiting these sites from a mobile device, so we went back to the drawing board to make sure you can navigate the content easily from a smartphone or tablet.

With the CREA Café, updated categories have been added to include a wide range of real estate-related topics. For example, By The Numbers features blog posts about market trends and analytics while Advocacy has articles about issues affecting housing and property rights. The section has content submitted by REALTORS® and touches on everything from the day-to-day grind, to lessons learned and experiences gained. The new Etcetera section will be home to fun real estate-related stories—first-time home buyer journeys, unusual homes and everyone’s favourite lighthearted Friday read, the Weekly Blend.

Over at REALTORS Care®, you’ll notice a familiar look and feel compared to the CREA Café. This was intentionally done to keep a branded, uniform style that lets you know you’re on a CREA site. The type of content hasn’t changed, but our staff has ramped up the number of published stories in order to better promote all the good work REALTORS® are doing in the communities where they work and live. From charity golf tournaments to dance competitions, if a REALTOR® is involved in any type of charity event, we want to hear about it and feature their giving story on REALTORS Care®.

The articles on REALTORS Care® are neatly organized by province and letting us know of your own charity event has never been easier: simply click the “Share Your Story” sticky button at the bottom of the page.
