On April 17-18, 2023, leaders in Canadian real estate will come together in the nation’s capital and online for two days of learning opportunities, engaging sessions, networking and to discuss the future of our industry during CREA’s Leadership Summit, Open Forum and AGM.
CREA’s Leadership Summit kicks off on Monday April 17, 2023, with registration opening at 7 a.m. EDT. Highlights from the jam-packed day include an exciting live REAL TIME podcast episode with host Erin Davis and guest Lital Marom, a thought leader on agile business processes, digital transformation, and the future of work.
Following a break for lunch, attendees will also have an opportunity to watch CREA’s first technology pitch battle, sponsored by REALTOR.ca. Six companies will pitch their products and ideas to help us shape the future of home buying in Canada. Judged by Rob Hahn, 7DS Associates, Stephanie Wood, Alate Partners and Jordana Springgay of REM, the winning company will walk away with a $2,500 cash prize.
To close the day, we will be hosting cocktails and canapés with Chair-Elect, Larry Cerqua.

Register for Leadership Summit
CREA’s Open Forum and AGM will kick off the next morning, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. EDT. Those attending will need to sign in between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. EDT.
Directions to connect will be sent to virtual registrants prior to the start of the annual general meeting. All voting delegates will also be provided directions on how to exercise their vote(s).
CREA’s AGM package and all election materials for the 2023-2024 candidates running for Director-at-Large and Regional Director positions can be accessed through member.CREA.ca.
In the evening, we will be hosting a Hollywood-themed reception and dinner in honour of Outgoing Chair, Jill Oudil. There’s an option to purchase tickets for either the reception, dinner, or both.

On Sunday, April 16, 2023, those attending in person will have the opportunity to complete the Resort & Second-Hand Property Specialist (RSPS) course offered through the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation. This course offers REALTORS® important information on buying and selling second-home properties for recreation and investment as well as what it takes to build a second-home business.
For those packing their bags to attend, please ensure you have business casual attire for the Leadership Summit, business attire for the Open Forum and AGM, and formal attire for the Outgoing Chair’s dinner.
