Are you looking to gain new skills and prepare for future growth in the real estate industry? You’re in luck.

We’re offering an array of courses this fall to help you achieve elite designations within the REALTOR® community. These include courses for the Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation.

Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Designation

The CRB designation is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual and office performance, and equip real estate professionals with the essential knowledge they need to practice brokerage management.

We’re offering five different CRB courses, as education electives, hosted virtually through CREA’s Learning Hub. Each course takes seven hours to complete and is spread across two days.

Courses include:

Starting a Real Estate Company: September 13-14

Opening a real estate office has many moving parts and knowing where to begin can be daunting. This course provides a foundational blueprint of all the elements involved in opening, managing, and growing a real estate company.

Managing a Multi-Generational Business: September 21-22

For the first time in modern history, four generations are working side by side. It’s an opportunity that comes with workplace challenges for managers and their employees.

In this course you will learn how to bridge generational gaps and understand what makes each generation unique, leading to better hires, happier employees, and stronger teams.

Recruiting for Success: October 24-25

This course was created to help brokers, owners, and managers understand how important recruiting is to a successful real estate office or company. You will learn how to implement strategies to take an active role in recruiting, and fostering a business culture where top industry talent wants to work.

Performance Leadership – Coach, Manage & Mentor: November 23-24

Today’s managers must deal with a myriad of leadership challenges, such as recruiting, managing turnover, training, and mentoring; in addition to running a successful and profitable business. This course will give you the tools you need to develop and implement a leadership strategy that addresses these challenges and has the flexibility to adapt to different personalities and situations.

Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Designation

The CIPS designation provides REALTORS® the education, resources, and network they need to help their clients invest in real estate abroad.

CIPS courses are divided between compulsory and elective courses – each takes six hours to complete, and can be completed virtually or in person.

When you register for two or more courses you’ll receive up to 20% off.

Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (elective):

Virtual September 6

Learn how to adapt and apply your core real estate skills, develop business and branding strategies, understand the issues and trends that impact the second-home market, and help buyers choose properties that meet their vacation or investment second-home goals.

Global Real Estate – Local Markets (compulsory)

Virtual September 15 and October 31 | In person October 31

This introductory course offers an overview of the international real estate business environment, including capital flow, currencies, government regulations and cultures.

Americas and International Real Estate (elective)

Virtual September 20 and November 4 | In person November 4

This course offers practical information about working with Caribbean, North, Central, and South American investors, including historical and cultural influences, regional relationships, and investment opportunities – with a special focus on Mexico.

Business of U.S. Real Estate (compulsory)

Virtual September 29 and November 1 | In person November 1

This course will help you understand the requirements, regulations, and laws associated with working as a real estate professional in the U.S. and equip you with the skills you need to facilitate real estate transactions in the U.S. market.

Europe and International Real Estate (elective)

 Virtual October 4 and November 2 | In person November 2

This course will help you work with clients in Western and Central Europe. You’ll learn about the impact the European Union has on international real estate, economic and real estate trends, networking, and best practices for marketing and selling.

Asia/Pacific and International Real Estate (elective)

Virtual and in person November 3

This course addresses real estate practices in Asia and the Pacific with emphasis on cultural influences, economic trends, and assessment of investment opportunities. There’s also an extra chapter specifically about working within the Japanese real estate market.
