As the year comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the honour it’s been so far to serve as Chair of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). Throughout the year the Board of Directors worked with REALTORS® and boards and associations from across Canada on initiatives and measures to protect REALTOR® reputation and value.
We have worked hard on many things, including REALTOR® Cooperation, value of MLS®, Open Offers pilot, price history, conditionally sold tags and the REALTOR.ca Data Centre. These conversations and innovations allow our industry to build trust, demonstrate our professionalism and provide important information to consumers while keeping REALTORS® at the heart of the buying and selling journey. By continuing to work together to improve open communication, I know we will continue to grow and embrace new opportunities. All while keeping the best interest of REALTORS® as our primary goal.
