We know property buyers and sellers value access to relevant data throughout the home buying process, while REALTORS® seek tools to enable and more easily manage these situations. That’s why the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has partnered with technology company Openn, to bring transparency to the offer process with its ground-breaking offer management software, Openn Offers.
With this pilot program, consumers will be able to see offers tracked in near real-time on participating listings, adding new transparency in the offer process not seen before in our market.
Together, Openn Offers and REALTOR.ca solve the perceived lack of transparency in the sales process and pricing while keeping REALTORS® at the heart of the transaction.
While currently only being used in select regions of British Columbia and Ontario, the platform is tailored to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of each province or territory.
As REALTORS® adopt Openn’s platform into their businesses, you’ll begin to see Openn Offers data appear on REALTOR.ca. With your client’s approval, and where applicable within provincial regulations, REALTOR.ca will display the date of each offer added to the Openn Offers platform. Applicable offers in British Columbia will also display the value of the offer and whether there are conditions attached.
