The Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) national ad campaign is a celebration of the expertise, dedication, and connection a REALTOR® brings to their clients. In April, we launched our latest ad campaign, “Together, we’ll make home happen.” From April 3 to June 4, each ad demonstrated from search to sale, a REALTOR® understands their client’s unique needs, and will help them find the perfect place to call home.
The campaign targeted first-time home buyers and sellers across Canada using a robust media strategy. Whether Canadians were checking their social media feeds, streaming their favourite show, waiting at a transit station, visiting their favourite influencers’ profiles, browsing YouTube, catching game highlights on theScore, or scrolling top sites like The Globe & Mail and Narcity, consumers were met with our ads through multiple touchpoints.
Building on the success of our 2022 campaign “Welcome Home,” ad recall doubled with “Together, we’ll make home happen.” The 30-second “Larger than Life” advertisement surpassed media benchmarks for complete video views. In addition, after seeing the ads, trust, and positive perception of REALTORS® increased by 23% and 17% respectively, while the likelihood of recommending a REALTOR® increased by 21%.
“Together, we’ll make home happen” will resume this fall from Monday, September 18 to Monday, November 6. The ad messaging will remain the same. The media strategy will also continue, shifting more heavily to the campaign’s highest impact media channels, including an expansion of social and “out of home” ads, and the continued feature of “Larger than Life” on online video and streaming channels.
