REALTORS® all across Canada play meaningful roles in their communities, often outside of their regular work hours. Whether it’s donating money to a cause close to their hearts, lending a helping hand at the local food bank, or donating an organ to one of their client’s family members, the generosity of REALTORS® knows no bounds.
That’s why the Canadian Real Estate Association is proud to announce the first-ever REALTORS Care® Week. During the week of November 18 to 22, REALTORS® from coast to coast will rally to raise awareness and help share the comfort of home with Canadians in need. REALTORS Care® Week will also showcase the active role REALTORS® play throughout the year to support and address critical housing issues through community involvement.
So, how can you get involved? Here are three ways:
- Lead your own REALTORS Care® Week project and recruit your colleagues, family and friends as volunteers;
- Volunteer to participate in a project being organized by fellow REALTORS®, your brokerage, your local real estate board or provincial association; and/or
- Join the #REALTORSCareWeek conversation online and raise awareness of housing and shelter-related issues this November.
The more REALTORS® involved and the more REALTORS Care® Week projects planned, the stronger our message and the bigger our collective impact will be.
